She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar T. Johnson and Jeanette I. Johnson (Ritter); her in-laws, Louis and Lauretta Schilling; her son Jerome Gehringer; and her grandchildren, Christopher Gottschall and Jodi Johnson (Gehringer).
She is survived by: her husband Craig E. Schilling; her son James Gehringer (Heather); her granddaughter Judy Gottschall (Greg); her stepsons, Troy Schilling (Michelle), Hazen and Trent Schilling of Blaine, MN; her grandsons, Jamie Gehringer (Allison), Darren Gottschall (Ashley) and Joshua Gottschall; her grandson-in-law Thurstan Johnson; her great grandchildren, Aftan, Adlee, Anryn Johnson, Elliott, Emmett, Emerie Gehringer, Abel, Henley Gottschall, Cooper and Bennett Gottschall; her stepgrandsons, Michael (Sara), Matthew, Liam and Collin Schilling; and her siblings, Milo Johnson, Terry Johnson (Nancy) and Sherry Southam (Tom). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home (21 3rd Ave SW, Minot, ND 58701).
