It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean W Bakke of Carrington, North Dakota, born in Mayville, North Dakota, who passed away on February 27, 2026, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Bakke and Beverly Bakke; his grandchildren, Elsie, Ovedia, Laurel, Maeve and Baby Bakke; his children, Aubrie Ziegler (Nick), Mitchel Bakke (Alli) and Joseph Bakke (Maddy); and his siblings, Terry Bakke (Wendy Bakke), Tammy Moen (Bob), Curt Bakke (Gayle Benson) and Debbie Munro (Dave). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, along with his many friends and family.
