She was predeceased by: her parents, James Harrison Gibbs and Eva Etta Dillon Gibbs; her uncle Roy; her adoptive father Robert Dillon Jr.; and her brother Terrill.
She is survived by: her husband Henry Simons of Carrington; her children, Christine Anderson (Todd) and Michael Simons (Kristin); her grandchildren, Alliya Anderson, Kassydee Anderson, Zackary Anderson, Sam Simons and Sarah Simons; her brother Stephan (Rose); and her aunt Lois Dillon. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
