He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Wedel and Hazel Wedel (Duffy); his wife Aone Sanderson; and his siblings, Carol and David.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Alishka and Brianna; his stepsister Sheelia Miller; and his children, Aleta Rae Link (Andy), Kathleen Rae Russell (Rick), Kirk Duane Wedel, Richard Wedel (Mavis) and Beverly Peterson (Hayward). He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
