He is survived by: his wife Patricia Elizabeth Buckley; his daughter Kimberly Boyce (Bill); his grandchildren, Cody, Brady (Josilyn) and Jett; his son John Winter (Deb); his grandchildren, Katlyn Schilling (Trent) and Jace Winter (Cassidy); his daughter Christy Kemp (Greg); his grandchildren, Sundance (Leeza), Sedona, Colt and Clay; his sons, Brian Winter and David Winter (Nicole); his grandchildren, Elice, Ivy and Wiley; his brother Dale Winter; his nephew Keith Winter (Brooke); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaylee, Kassidy, Levi and Steve Winter; his sister-in-law Caroline Lundberg; his niece Erika McCallister (Wren); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jack, Avery and Gabby; his nephew Adam Lundberg (Rachel); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ellie and Lilli; and his great grandchildren, Archie, Tad Schilling and Kimber Kemp.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fulkerson Stevenson Memorial Chapel (315 2nd St NW, Sidney, MT 59270). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pella Lutheran Church (418 W Main St, Sidney, MT 59270).
