He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman Elsperger and Viola Elsperger (Fenske); and his brother Richard "Dick" Elsperger. He is survived by: his daughters, Jenica Flanagan (Derek) of Casselton, ND, Shari Nass (Calvin) of Williston, ND and Mindee Houtcooper (Ryan) of Ketchikan, AK; his grandchildren, Mickey, Keelyn, Hadley Flanagan, Jocelyn, Jaidyn, Aubrey, Bennet, Callie Nass, Landen, Madelyn and James Houtcooper; and his sisters, Janet Knoll (Harold), Karen Blixt (Bob) of Amenia, ND and Barb Christensen (Jim) of Fargo, ND. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A family service was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery (304 3rd Ave, Cando, ND 58324). A celebration of life was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cando Harvest Grill (1007 1st Ave, Cando, ND 58324).
