Donald Nilles Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Nilles of Casselton, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 9, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Donald had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Donald may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Leo's Catholic Church (211 Langer Ave N, Casselton, ND 58012). A prayer was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Casselton Knights of Columbus, Casselton Fire Department or Community of Care.
