He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Nelson and Martha Nelson; his son Ralph Paul Nelson; his grandson Hayden Thomas Nelson; his siblings, Muriel (Dick Marschke), Lucille (Irvin Boyce), Verna (Wayne Hocking), Lorraine (Robert Kapaun), Kathryn (Dick Christian), Lawrence (Helen Nelson), Howard (Georgine Nelson) and Otis Nelson Jr.; and his in-laws, Grace Radermacher, Jim Eberhardt, Charles Radermacher, Ronnie Radermacher Leo Welk, Beth Radermacher and Marty Thoen.
He is survived by: his wife Barb Nelson; his children, Marty Saunders (Jim), Ann Runck (Lannie), Beth Sundet (Mark), Mary Jane Montplaisir (Mike), Brian Nelson (Kim) and Tom Nelson (Andrea); and his in-laws, Betty Nelson Howe, Carol Radermacher, Dennis, Kerry Radermacher, Alan, Mary Lou Radermacher, Bill Radermacher Jr., Gene, Bea Radermacher, Susan, Paul Hubbard, Lila Thoen, Kay Welk and Joann Radermacher. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Community of Care.
