He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilfred Crowston and Dorothy Crowston (Dalsted); his friends, Skip Kotchman and Doug Herzog; his wife Karen Crowston (Peterson); his children, Julie Peterson (Jay) of Cavalier, ND, Sara Crowston of Cavalier, ND and Steven Crowston (Lizzie) of Cavalier, ND; his grandchildren, Jenna Stith (Jeff), Justine Peterson, Charlotte, Freddie, Winnie, Ted and Gus Crowston; his great grandchildren, Scarlett and Hazel Stith; his siblings, Darrell Crowston (Irene) and Penny Scheflo (Jerry); his brother-in-law Ken Peterson (Bev); and his grandson Janzen. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar United Lutheran Church (104 Bjornson Dr, Cavalier, ND 58220). A memorial service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
