He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Dalsted and Loa Dalsted (Sigurdson) of Svold; his brother Lyle; and his siblings-in-law, Sheila Dalsted, Allan Papenfuss, Louann (Sondeland) and Wayne Bill.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Sondeland of Hensel; his children, John Allen (Tracy) of Emerado, ND and Carla Jean Arndt (Shawn) of Grand Forks, ND; his grandchildren, Lindsey Wretling (Josh), Mason Dalsted, Ronnie Beck (Audrey) and Bobby Beck; his great grandchildren, Loa, Royce, Amelia and Evelyn; his uncle Merlyn Dalsted of Svold, ND; and his sister-in-law Jean Papenfuss of Grand Forks, ND. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the United Lutheran Church (104 Bjornson Dr, Cavalier, ND 58220). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
