He is survived by: his wife Peggy Hannesson (Thomson); his daughter Penny (Mark) of Fargo, ND; his stepchildren, Monica Bohn (Bill) of Cavalier, ND, Marci Eckroth (Adam) of Fargo, ND and Mark Hannesson (Holly) of Parshall, ND; his grandchildren, Tatianna, Hailey Smith, Jessica Reimer (Tyler), Deric Bohn, Kaitlyn Alvarez (Michelle), Darion Hannesson (Megan), Ashlynn Hannesson, Sarah and AJ Eckroth; his great grandchildren, Saylor Alvarez and Elleanor Hannesson; his sisters-in-law, Carol Dietrich and Debbie Shoefner; his stepsisters, Linda Ranisate, Nancy Gurneau and Jolyn Boyce; and his pets, Ginger, Blackie and Pinkie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
