He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Kemnitz and Alfred Kemnitz; his wife Patsy; his son Darrell; and his brother Ervin.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Fisher (Chuck), Linda Paulson (Lynn), Nancy Jenson (John) and Duane Kemnitz (Shawnda); his daughter-in-law Karen; his brother Myron Kemnitz (Molly); and his sister-in-law Karen Clark (Charlie). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (108 Elizabeth St W, Cavalier, ND 58220). A prayer was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
