He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick "Wayne" Spangelo and Beverly Anne "Unke" Spangelo; his siblings, Warren and Brenda; and his niece Stephanie.
He is survived by: his friend Kristi Michelle Doyle; his wife Kristi; his children, Jeremy Spangelo (Nicole), Shaun Spangelo (Amanda) and Tiffany Hilger (Jeff); his grandchildren, Chelsey Richards (Aaron), Jarrod, Hunter, Blake, Hailey, Lukas and Zaileygh; his stepmother Patricia Schuh; his father-in-law Junie Doyle; and his siblings, Audrey Ouhl (Larry), Faye Dunnigan, Jim Spangelo (Mel), Jerry Spangelo (Leann), Robert Spangelo (Cathy) and Kevin Spangelo (Amy). He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cavalier Evangelical Free Church (1006 Main St W, Cavalier, ND 58220). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
