With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Amundson of Clifford, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 15, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Tollefsrud and Marie Tollefsrud (Andrews); and her siblings, Faye and Floyd. She is survived by: her husband Ron Amundson; her sons, Joel and Jeremy (Staci); her stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Bakeberg (Jason), Bryan and Nicolle Luft; and her siblings, Ann Tollefsrud, Betty Helmick (Jay), Lyle Tollefsrud and Linda Irish. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Journey Home Animal Rescue, 2655 11th Ave NE, Emerado, ND 58228 or Circle of Friends Humane Society, 4375 N. Washington St., Grand Forks, ND 58203.
