She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Schmitz and Peggy Schmitz (Cook). She is survived by: her husband Jamie Sims; her sons, Nathan (Voshaun) and Lucas; her granddaughter Wynona; her siblings, Michelle Schmitz Skelton (Steve), Eric Schmitz (Sherry) and Josh Schmitz (Tiffany); and her parents-in-law, Dan and Renee Sims. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
