She was predeceased by: her parents, George Cook and Lorraine Cook; her husband Melvin Schmitz; her great grandchild Raceleigh; and her siblings, Guff and Ruth.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle Schmitz Skelton (Steve) of Potosi, Missouri, Misty Sims (Jamie) of Coleharbor, Eric Schmitz (Sherry) of Washburn and Josh Schmitz (Tiffany) of Underwood; and her sister Mary Kalis (Francis) of Walhalla. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
