He was predeceased by: his parents, G. R. Daschendorf and Rebecca Daschendorf; and his sisters, Lyla and Rose. He is survived by: his wife Jan McCullough (Johnson); his stepsons, Greg McCullough (Susan) and Brad McCullough (Tracy); his son Travis Daschendorf; his grandchildren, Kirsten Prout (Ben) of Madison, WI, Paige Simonson (Johnny), Brooklyn McCullough Emma (Valley City), Jackson and Kanen Daschendorf (Bismarck); his great grandchildren, Norah Simonson (Grand Forks) and William Prout (Madison); and his siblings-in-law, Larry, Tim Johnson (Deb), Steve Satrom (Deb), Maynard Satrom (Cindy) and Barb Jacobsen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (503 Bates Ave, Hope, ND 58046). A memorial service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 2:30 PM to 2:55 PM at the same location.
