She was predeceased by: her parents, Duane Kruckenberg and Norma Kruckenberg (Anderson); and her brother-in-law Roger Nelson. She is survived by: her husband Gary Varberg of Cooperstown, ND; her son Timothy Varberg (Megan) of Cooperstown, ND; and her stepdaughter Rebecca Rickford (Andrew) of Cooperstown, ND.. She is also survived by brother, two sister, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1104 Roberts Ave NW, Cooperstown, ND 58425). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fargo National Veterans Cemetery (8709 40th Ave W, West Fargo, ND 58078).
