She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Maltby and Helen Maltby (Larson); her husband Dwaine Melby; her siblings, Harriet Hovland, Ruth Haugen, Delbert and Denton Maltby; and her niece Sally Munn.
She is survived by : her children, Michael Melby (Deb) of Crosby, ND, Deb Veik of Aurora, CO, Keith Melby (Sherry) of Kenmare, ND, Barb Bosch (Rick) of Linton, ND, Kent Melby of Crosby, ND, Janette McCollum of Sidney, MT and Anita Tharnish (Mark) of Aurora, CO; her grandchildren, Rob Melby, Megan Carranza (Aaron), Nicole Rego, Nick Alber, Allison Morris (Jason), Justin Melby (Dana), Michael Brekhus (Joanna), Tonya Kellerman (Brady), Crystal Eide (Dean), Amanda Gravesen, Kelly Gravesen (Laura), Carly Anderson (Cortney), Jamison Bosch (Paige), Dane McCollum (Jennifer), Koby McCollum, Angela Tharnish and Bryan Tharnish (Elizabeth); and her great grandchildren, Maren, Alana, Joel Carranza, Andrew, Aiden Rego, Noah Morris, Charlotte, Natasha Brekhus, Jayden, Lucy Kellerman, Riley, Carter Eide, Jaryn Sundby, Tate, Hadley Gravesen, Berlyn Lindbo, Liam, Cael, Brady McCollum, Addison, Aubreyanna Jenkins and Olivia Tharnish. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
