We bid farewell to Marlene Oie of Cummings, North Dakota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 6, 2025 at the age of 91. Marlene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Strom and Ida Strom (Jahnke). She is survived by: her children, Melody Osgood (John) of Hillsboro, Keith Oie (Pamela) of Wabasha, MN and Renae Sullivan (Kevin) of Lake; her grandchildren, Leah Enriquez (Sam), Amy Oie, Rileigh Sullivan and Chase Sullivan; and her sisters, Ione Lean of Stewart, MN and Janice Madrid (Lionel) of Santa Fe, NM. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Wildeman Boulger Funeral Home (118 3rd St SE, Hillsboro, ND 58045). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (204 E Caledonia Ave, Hillsboro, ND 58045).
BURIAL: St. Olaf Lutheran Church Cemetery near Hillsboro, Memorials are preferred to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
