With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Berdal of Dahlen, North Dakota, who passed away on May 3, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lars Berdal and Carrie Berdal (Fredrickson); his wife Marlys Whaley Behm; his siblings, Erick Berdal (Dorothy), Ingvald Berdal, Fredrick Berdal (Marian), Carl Berdal, Corrinne and Francis Berdal; and his nieces and nephews, Les, Luther Berdal, Charlotte Berdal, Mary Kathryn Lynne and Joan Berdal.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Valborg Berdal; his nieces and nephews, Daniel Berdal (Vicky), John Berdal (Carolyn), Alan Berdal (Darla), Wayne Berdal (Kathy), James Berdal, David Berdal (Allison), Karen Shephard (Lyle), Lucy Pierson (Todd), Gladwin Lynne and Kristi Berdal; and his stepdaughters, Debrah Hall (Tom), Pamela Stumpf (Jeff), Cheryl Beiswenger and Sarah Bervik (Loren). He is also survived by 8 step grandchildren; and 17 step great grandchildren.
