He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Nerem and Elizabeth Nerem (Wiltse); and his sister Carrie Brodehl. He is survived by: his former wife Myra Mogard; his wife Zethel "Ginny" Nerem; his children, Travis Nerem (Lisa), Tracy Boyd (Matt) and Tammy Hanson (Jerry); his grandchildren, Delane Bond (Brian), Reed Nerem, Laurisa Nerem, Jayden Brandt, Allie Hanson, Baylee Hanson, Zachary Hebron and Austin Leonard (Shantah); his great grandchildren, Violet Bond and Eversyn Leonard; his stepchildren, Greg Leonard, Charles Faulhaber (Marie) and Debbie Hebron; and his siblings, Janice Nerem, Elaine Swanson and Gary Nerem (Mary).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Deering Lutheran Cemetery (205 2nd Ave, Deering, ND 58731). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (215 3rd Ave SE, Minot, ND 58701).
