Jessen of Des Lacs, North Dakota, born in Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on November 28, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Jessen and Marian Jessen (Samuelson); and his brother Donald Jessen Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Person; his close friend Angela Roedacker; his daughters, Talli Danelson (Shelli Gyorkos) and Jaime Batke (Jason); his grandchildren, Zach Danelson (Brittney), Hunter Danelson (Paige Jacobson), Paris Seese (Dexter), Aspen Batke and Branson Batke; his great grandchild Xavier Danelson; his siblings, Warren Jessen (Kerry) and Susan Thymian (Doug); and his pet Gurls. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home (21 3rd Ave SW, Minot, ND 58701). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Life Lutheran Church (1415 17th Ave SW, Minot, ND 58701).
