He is survived by: his siblings, Debbie Skavhaug of Devils Lake, Gary Reiger (Michelle), Devils Lake and Martin Reiger; his siblings' children, Travis Skavhaug (Jennifer), Lindsey Skavhaug, Derick Germain, Cassie Reiger, Merlyn Knutson, Shelby Reiger and Keshaun Feather; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Emily, Bentley, Averie, Silas, Kingston, Tuff, Hensley, Landon David Patricia, Leelyn, Leelah, Merlyn IV and Kezawin.
