He was predeceased by: his sister Connie Nagel; his father Ben Nagel; his stepfather Harold Pulst; and his niece Melissa Pederson. He is survived by: his mother Alma Pulst (Grand Forks); and his siblings, Shirleen Pederson (Grand Forks), Bernadine (Finamore), Penny (Abar), Lisa Cooper (Devils Lake) and Curtis Nagel (Grand Forks). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
