He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roger Schumacker and Marlene Schumacker (Mitzel); his pets, Mya and Max; his wife Tami Schumacker; his daughter Hope Schumacker; his stepson Andrew Reiter; his brother Fred Schumacker; his parents-in-law, Dennis and Gloria Lassig; his siblings-in-law, Sandi Kraft (Chad) and David Lassig (Shanara); his uncle Ted Mitzel; his aunts, Mary Jane Schmaltz (Melvin), Dorothy Hooker (Chuck), Betty Summers and Rita Mitzel; his grandparents, Fred and Elizabeth Mitzel (Welk); his uncles, Fred Mitzel and Jim Summers; his aunt Christine Mitzel; his grandmothers, Clarabelle Hendrickson and Helen Schumacker; and also Andrew Reiter. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends.
