With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vern Loehr (Devils Lake, North Dakota), born in Starkweather, North Dakota, who passed away on February 21, 2019 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer and Thelma; his brother Lloyd Loehr of Gresham, OR; his wife Caryl; his son Craig; and his granddaughter Chelsey Halgren.
He is survived by: his siblings, James Loehr of Wilmar, ND and Diane Riando of Anaheim, California; his children, Connie Halgren (Nels Halgren) of Devils Lake and Jeff Loehr (Pamela Loehr) of Fargo, ND; his daughter-in-law Renee Loehr of Moorhead, MN; and his grandchildren, Brooke Bodeen (Dusty Bodeen) of Portland, Oregon, Nathan Loehr (Shannon) of Brookings, SD, Eric Loehr (Nicole) of Maple Grove, MN and Meghan Loehr of Moorhead, MN. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
