It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Walter of Dickinson, North Dakota, who passed away on December 17, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Valentine Walter and Beatrice Walter (Kuntz); his wife Mabel; his brothers, Simon Walter (Ann) and Roger Walter; his siblings-in-law, Peter, Mary Laches (Reinert), Mary Beth Powell and Mike Messer; and his niece Karen Harp.
He is survived by: his children, Valerie Thoennes (Allan) of Apple Valley, MN, Don Walter (Linnet) of Bismarck, ND, Dave Walter (Janice) of Minot, ND and Vicki Binstock (Robert) of Sioux Falls, SD; his brother Clifford Walter (Eleanor); and his siblings-in-law, Terry Walter, Bill Powell, Irene Messer, Ed Laches (Gloria Krein), Jeannette and Jim Sullivan. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
