James Roberts Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Roberts of Dickinson, North Dakota, who passed away on April 1, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Roberts and Mary Roberts (Jenkins); his sons, Michael Roberts and Floyd Roberts (Bo); and his brothers, Teddy, Marvin, George and Donald.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Louise Roberts; his children, Rena Kadrmas (Ken) and James Roberts Jr. (JR); his daughter-in-law Renee Roberts; and his siblings, Harry Roberts (Annette) and Rosemary Talkington. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital, a cause that reflects the care he extended to others throughout his life.
