She was predeceased by : her parents, Marvin Skyberg and Lucille Skyberg (Bryson); her husband Vaile Pender; her sister Mary; her siblings-in-law, Dick Driscoll and Dora Skyberg; and her great grandchild Mara.

She is survived by : her children, Brad Pender (Pat) of Dickinson, Steven Pender (Karen) of Dickinson, Daniel Pender (Danielle) of Dickinson and Gayle Dukart (Blaine) of Dickinson; her siblings, Duane Skyberg of Des Moines, IA, Dennis Skyberg (Donna) of Devils Lake, Gwen Johnson (Paul) of Stillwater, MN and Jacque Senger (Rick) of Devils Lake; and her brother-in-law Thomas Pender of Moreno Valley, CA.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stevenson Funeral Home - Dickinson (2067 1st St W, Dickinson, ND 58601). A prayer was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church - Dickinson (146 6th Ave W, Dickinson, ND 58601). A burial was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery (1825 46th St, Mandan, ND 58554).
