She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Symionow and Anna Symionow (Kordonowy); her husband John M. Shypkoski; and her siblings, George, Nick, Steve, William, Kay, Jenny, Agnes, Dorothy and Sister Anisia.

She is survived by: her sister Bernadine Symionow. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St, Demetrius Church of Belfield, ND or the Ukrainian Cultural Institute in Dickinson, ND.
