He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Ralph Boespflug and Emilia Boespflug (Goetzfriedt); his wife Frieda Schmidt; his children, Pamela Aman, Perry Boespflug (Annette), Dickinson, Julie Hoff (Cal) and Richardton; his grandchildren, Lacey Aman, Jesse Aman, Tyler Boespflug (Samantha), Cole Boespflug (Kayla), Kayla Boespflug, Crista Collins and Casey Hoff (Candace); his great grandchildren, Sophie Boespflug and Ely Aman; and his siblings, Tillie Lindemann, Elizabeth Bier and Joe Boespflug (Arlys). He was also cherished by three children, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to the St. Mary Cemetery of Richardton.
