She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Schlecht and Christina Schlecht (Rudolph); her husband Olaf; and her son-in-law Joe Wanner. She is survived by: her children, Renae Wanner, Duane Sandvick (Cindy) and John Sandvick; her grandchildren, Jeremy Wanner (Cheryl), Allison, Brandon Wanner, Stephanie Weyrauch (Deland), Ryan Sandvick (Emily) and Nicholas Sandvick; and her great grandchildren, Ashlynn, Maci, Bryer, Sophie, Kash, Quinn, Aurora, Tatum, Zara and Vivienne.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Backpack Program, Badlands Bible Camp, or a charity of your choice in Ruth's name.
