He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Degele and Appolonia Degele (Frank); his wife Barbara Degele; his brother George Degele; and his brothers-in-law, Florian Krenzel and Simon Jahner.
He is survived by: his siblings, Frieda Krenzel, Bertha Jahner, Sr., Gloria Degele, Albert Degele (Loretta) and Vincent Degele (Pam). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
