DeAnne Kay Finken Obituary
We announce the death of DeAnne Kay Finken of Douglas, North Dakota, who passed away on September 20, 2026, at the age of 66. DeAnne will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nels Narum and Marion Narum (Bivins); her in-laws, Wilmer and Isabelle Finken; and her siblings-in-law, DeWayne Moran and Becky Heinecke.
She is survived by: her husband Bob; her children, Tracy Stangeland (Dustin) of Glenfield, Holly Sobieck (Chris) of Douglas, Katie Finken of Denver, CO and Dylan Finken (Sydnie); her grandchildren, Cainen, Emma, Conner, Kipten Stangeland, Gavin, Chase, Calvin and Tessa Sobieck; her siblings, Peggy Moran and Gary Narum (Christy); her siblings-in-law, Sharon King (Ted), Kathy Sailer (Arlo), Elaine Stolt (LeRoy) and Dennis Finken (Muriel); and her close friend Linda Delzer of Douglas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A prayer was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Douglas Senior Center. Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (221 Prairie St, Douglas, ND 58735).
