Doug Beck Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doug Beck of Douglas, North Dakota, who passed away on November 16, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Beck and Mildred Beck (Greenfield); his wife Arlene Horntvedt; his sisters, Alice Walleen and Maybell Corey; and his son-in-law Ronald Erickson.
He is survived by: his children, Daren (Brenda) of Minot, Lori Schweigert of Beulah, Anita Erickson of Columbus and Tami Howarter of Prior Lake, MN; his grandchildren, Kyle Beck (Natalie), Kelsey Spidahl (Seth), Shila Garrett (Gary), Tyler Schweigert (Kristen), Shalene Nygaard (Kyle), Lana Erickson, Logan Erickson (Kaitlin), Kristina Dirksen (Andy) and Scott Howarter; and his brother Brian Beck. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thomas Family Funeral Home (304 Main St S, Minot, ND 58701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1800 Hiawatha St SE, Minot, ND 58701).
