He is survived by: his wife Shirley Poitra of Dunseith; his children, Deanna Gutierrez (Benjamin) of Layton, UT, Randy Poitra Jr. of Dunseith and Brittney Poitra of Dunseith; his grandchildren, Aleksis Fabian (Alex), Kaleb Gutierrez, Tristan Poitra and Izabelle Poitra; and his siblings, Sandy Poitra (Wade), Troy Poitra, Terry Poitra (Tammy), Roxanne Fairbanks (Robert), Pam Banley (Thad), Ramona "Dallas" Love, Audrey Pister (George) and Marlys Belgarde. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
