She was predeceased by: her mother MaryAnn Peltier (McArthur); her husband Garry M Counts; her parent Prudent Peltier; her grandparents, John A and Philomine McArthur (Russet); and her siblings, Julius (Laura), Philip (Louise), Joseph (Delores), Edward (Madeline), Mary Demery (Eli), Harry (Margaret), Josephine Parisien (Billy), Phyllis Henry (Clarence) and Celina Sayers.
She is survived by: her children, Garry W (Lucinda) of Dunseith, ND, Doreen Rodriguez (David) of Waterford, MI, Monica Nadeau (Eugene), Allison DeCoteau (Blaine) of Dunseith, ND, Francine Counts-French of Trenton, ND, Gerald (Melissa) of Dunseith, ND, Loren Counts (Olivia) of Dunseith, ND and Donovan (Denette) of Hastings, MN. She is also survived by 29 Grandchildren; and 50+ Great-Grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews; along with many foster children and step-grandchildren.
A wake will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (112 1st St W, Dunseith, ND 58329). A rosary will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
