He is survived by: his mother Iris Steinwand (Brandenburger) of Merricourt, ND; his wife Colleen Worrel of Berlin, ND; his daughters, Tameka Ulmer (Lane) of Litchville, ND, Tyra Schneibel (Thomas) of Fargo, ND, Alea Steinwand of Edgeley, ND and Shaya Steinwand of Edgeley, ND; his grandchildren, Mathias Ulmer and Baby Schneibel; his mother-in-law MaryLee Worrel of Berlin, ND.; his siblings, Renae Ulmer (Gregg) of West Fargo, ND, Loreli Hokana (Gary) of Ellendale, ND and Clete Steinwand of Monango, ND; and his siblings-in-law, Lauren Worrel (Kim) of Tacoma, WA, Larry Worrel (Cindy) of Berlin, ND, Vernon Worrel (Ranae) of Webster, SD, Jeremy Worrel of Berlin, ND, Suzanne Fritz of Temple, TX and Karen Greenmyer (Kevon) of Britton, SD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Helena's Catholic Church (421 2nd St N, Ellendale, ND 58436). A rosary was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A prayer was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
