Rodney Ness, born on May 14, 1943, passed away on October 18, 2026. Rodney leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Ness and Rubye Ness (Baird); his brother Gary Ness; and his daughter Melinda Ness. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Ness (Rall); his children, Michele Spiekermeier (Hugh), Tharen Ness and Heather Rye (Shawn); and his grandchildren, Eric Feist, Brittany Opp (Jeff), Nolan Rye, Nora Rye, Aspen Ness, Emmitt Ness, Jason Spiekermeier and Jessica Scheffer (Eric). He is also survived by his great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (307 5th St, Edgeley, ND 58433). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the Edgeley Park Board or another Edgeley area service organization.
