It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Alton Thorson of Edinburg, North Dakota, who passed away on November 29, 2025, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Lowell Thorson and Linda Thorson (Schaefer); his wife Jenna Wensloff; his stepson Jackson Arthur Briese; his son Nash Lowell Thorson; his brother James Lowell Thorson (Hannah); his grandparents, Carolyn Olson, Caroline Majer and Vern Olson; and his parents-in-law, Clark, Kaydell Majer, Brian and Wanda Wensloff. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nephews and sisters and brothers-in-law.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Edinburg Fire Department and the Park River Pregnancy Help Center.
