He is survived by: his children, Owen Sampson (Michella) of Edmore, Christine Bushy of Moorhead, MN, Ned Sampson of Edmore and Ellen Sampson of Rochester, MN; his brother Frank Sampson of Boulder, CO; and his grandchildren, Lauren Sampson, Ethan Sampson and Jordyn Bushy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Concordia Lutheran Church of Edmore or Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN.
