He is survived by: his wife Della Myren; his children, Skye Stensland, Pamela Handegard (Arvid) and Scott Johnson; his grandchildren, Avery, Brea, Rhett Stensland, Tristen, Brianna Johnson and Heather Johnson; his great grandchildren, Rush and Rohan Johnson; his sisters, Linda Pankratz and Karen Norman; and his brother-in-law Allen Myren. He is also survived by several nephews and a niece, who he treated as his own children.
