We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2020, at the age of 91, Selma Schock of Elgin, North Dakota, born in Hebron, North Dakota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Selma Schock to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Riedlinger and Rosina Riedlinger (Scheuffele); her sons, Raymond and Bobby; her grandchildren, Sunshine Sayler, Baby Girl Sayler and Buck Schock; her brothers, Edgar, Roger and Galen; and her brother-in-law Leo Steinrueber.

She is survived by : her children, Rodger, Jerry, Linda (Rick Hauck), Kathy Schock of Elgin, ND, Rita Sayler of Dickinson, ND and Kim Schock of Elgin, ND; her daughters-in-law, Jerry, Julie Schock and Susan Schock (Dan) of Bismarck, ND; her grandchildren, Kyla Schneider (Cortney), Quaya Ackerman (Matthew), Wanita Bowman (David), Wayde Rivinius (Lisa Fisher), Shawn Schock (Karen), Mandy Pauly (Chris), Tiffany Schock, Chip Schock, Brandon Schock (Cammie), ShaNae Schock, Colt Schock, Jeremy Hauck (Emily) and Rick Hauck (Kari); her sister Lorrine Steingrueber of Dickinson, ND; and her sisters-in-law, Caroline Riedlinger of Hebron, ND and Sharon Riedlinger of Elgin, ND. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Jacobson Memorial Hospital Care Center.

Jerry Schock wrote a sympathy message

“Our mother, a source of inspiration that would be hard to match. The hardest worker you could ever find. Never complained about anything having to do with her health or welfare. An exceptional memory to the end and someone that never tried to keep up with the Jones. She was confronted with adversity, heartache, and trauma, and yet forged ahead without looking back. Our mother four foot ten and did the work of a giant in her younger years. We will miss her and the example she set for all of us.”
