He is survived by: his wife Lorelei Maier; his children, Jason Maier (Lynae) of Curtis, Neb., David Maier (Teresa) of Winfred, SD and Sarah Sumption (Warren) of Frederick, SD; his grandchildren, Will Thomas Maier, Drew David Maier, Laura Margaret Sumption, Milo Warren Sumption, Howard Thomas Sumption, Frederick Warren Sumption, Brody Russell Senff and Elle Louise Senff; his sisters, Karol Redding (Mark) and Sherry Maly (Joel); his siblings-in-law, Bruce Holmberg of Rush City, MN, Steven Hamar of Mandan, ND, Joel Hamar (Betty) of Ellendale, ND, Nora Kane (Doug) of Bismarck, ND and Alicia Boyle (Jeff) of Ellendale, ND; and his great-nephews, Rhett and Hayes Hamar. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
