It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Schlecht of Enderlin, North Dakota, who passed away on May 1, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Bantel and Sara Jane Bantel (Portiss); and her husband Reuben Schlecht. She is survived by: her children, Sheila (Chris Barry) of San Antonio, TX, Shane (Susie) of Enderlin and Shannon (Tina) of Hopkins, MN; and her grandchildren, Shaye Barry of Dallas, TX, Cannon Barry of Detroit, MI, Nolan Schlecht of Enderlin, ND, Wyatt Schlecht of Enderlin, ND and Alyssa Schlecht of Hopkins, MN.
Memorials are preferred to the ND 4-H Foundation or to Trinity Lutheran Church in Enderlin.
