He is survived by: his wife Sheila Mellon; his sons, Joel (Nancy Frost) and Jay (Laurene); his grandchildren, Jarek Kath, Jamison Kath (Eve), Tyler Kath and Alyssa Triplett (Christian); his great grandchild Ada Kath; his sisters, Jean Marquardt (Eugene) and Joan Anderson (LeRoy); and his siblings-in-law, Bud Mellon (Linda) and Shirley Kath. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
