He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Samuelson and Gladys Samuelson (Oftelie); his sisters, Hjordis, Joanne and Carol; his parents-in-law, Don and Ann; and his brothers-in-law, Grani, Ron Kangas and Steven Salminen.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Salminen; his sister LaVaun Sahlberg (Greg); his siblings-in-law, Danny Erickson, Mike Salminen, Brad Kangas and Terry Salminen; his great-nephew Kaiden; his uncle Sam; and his close friend Bradley Lindstrom. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews; 10 great nieces and nephews; five great great nieces and nephews; two great great great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Albert's family has asked for donations to be made to HIA Hospice, Bethesda WELCA or music fund, and Houglum Cemetery Fund.
