With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Andrew Julian Grant of Fargo, North Dakota, born in Belcourt, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 20, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Grant Sr. and Theresa Grant (Peltier); his granddaughter Meagan Cordell; and his siblings, Charlene Duchaine, Elizabeth LaFrombois, Louis Swain, Dale Grant and David Grant.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cora Allard (Ryan) of Fargo and Christy Cordell (Jamie) of Grand Forks; his grandchildren, Isaiah of Fargo, Autumn of Fargo, Amira of Fargo, Gavin Allard of Fargo, Elliot Cordell (Briana) of Grand Forks and Preston Cordell of Grand Forks; his great grandchild Yuri Cordell; and his siblings, Jeff Grant (Joan Desjarlais) of Belcourt, Walter "Joe" Grant Jr. of Jamestown, Sandra Short of Belcourt and Resa Swain of Parshall. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (1115 Louis Riel Dr, Belcourt, ND 58316). A rosary was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
