It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Farrar Thene of Fargo, North Dakota, born in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on August 8, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur "Pat" Fiedler and Holly Fiedler (Davis); and her husband David Thene. She is survived by: her daughters, Holly Schweigert (Shannon) of West Fargo, ND, Stephanie "Tess" Lindemann (Gary) of West Fargo, ND and Leah Mau (Joe) of Andover, MN; her grandchildren, Andrew Schweigert (Shelby) of West Fargo, ND, Alison Dwyer (Adam) of Moorhead, MN, Katy Weaver of Andover, MN, Abby Mau of Andover, MN and Haley Mau of Andover, MN; her great grandchildren, Jordyn Dwyer, Cashton Schweigert and Cameron Schweigert; her stepgrandchildren, Levi Thene, Justus Thene and Zakary Thene; her stepsons, David Thene Jr. of West Fargo, ND and Mark Thene; and her brother James Robert Fiedler (Mabeth) of Battle Lake, MN. She is also survived by the cousin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Gethsemane Episcopal Cathedral, Hospice of the Red River Valley and/or the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch Horse Program.
